Thank You God

I just want to tell you that God is Good. He will use others to be a blessing in your life. I already told God Thank you, but I wanted to Thank God in Public. As I prepare myself for online service at Emmanuel Baptist Church, I began to reflect on some of the things that some people say out of that thing they call a mouth. 

Then I realize people say things because they do not know any better. They do not know God and what he is capable of doing. But if it was not for his Grace (God blessing us when we do not deserve it) and Mercy (God not punishing us when our sins deserve it) where would you be today? Where would I be today? 

Someone did not wake up this morning, but you were blessed to see another day. You did not wake your self up #GodDidThat. You are blessed to have your five senses for another day, #GodDidThat. Someone lost their job last week and may not be able to provide for their family, but that pink slip bypassed your desk #GodDidThat. My faith has been shook several times, but I have faith that can beat the unbeatable, faith that can remove the unmovable faith that can conquer anything.  

I know who holds my hand when I go through what I go through, I know who makes a way for me to provide for me and my family it was #NobodyButJesus. I thank God for all he has done for me and my family thus far. I will #PraiseHimInAdvance for what he will do in the future. Anything can happen today for tomorrow is not promised to us. 

Thank God and give him the praise he deserves. I just needed to say this. As I do everyday, I will continue to Pray Until Something Happens (P.U.S H) and Fully Rely On God (F.R.O.G) to provide all my needs.

Your Child Is LGBT..It's Not The End Of The World!

I am not a parent of a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender (LGBT) child, so I cannot say I understand what a parent of a LGBT child is going through. However, I have friends and family members who are and have children who are LGB so I can relate to a certain degree. Growing up I had friends who were gay and who were lesbians. A few of them told me and a few of them hid it from me. Why? I have no idea. What they failed to realize was I already knew, but I wanted them to tell me on their own. It is on no account painless for mothers and fathers to find out that their son or daughter is a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Nor is it any easier for the child to tell their mother, father, friends or other family members that they are or may be a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Press Release Brooklyn United (BU) is one of Brooklyn’s most effective Music and Arts Programs . It is a program that offers a creative and safe space for minority inner-city youth. Throughout the years, the program has operated out of churches and other dance studios. During their time at these establishments, BU has been, and continues to be, an inspiration to all who have had a face-to- face encounter or have seen them perform. Residing in New York city, the youth face several challenges and dangers. We all know that an idle mind and too much (unsupervised) free time can change the trajectory of their lives. Brooklyn United has provided an alternative to spending so much time unsupervised.
